About Me
Hello, I am Verolina. I started pole dance quite late, after turning 30, and significantly improved as a pole dancer after completing treatment for stage 3 breast cancer.
My goal is to empower you and teach all the techniques which I learned myself, helping you regain confidence as I did after my body was affected by intensive treatments.
I am particularly focused on self-expression through dance, bringing together elegance and sensuality.
I offer online and onsite classes, retreats, as well as photos and videos on the outdoor pole stage in Madeira.

FAQ
PHYSICAL CONDITION AND AGE
The most frequent question I receive from women before attending class is, ‘Am I not too old for this?’ and my answer is always no.
Personally, I started pole dancing after the age of 32 and significantly improved my pole dance level even after cancer.
So, if you are 60—by the way, that was the age of my first pole student—or more or less, you can still do pole dancing. It allows you to work on your body and strengthen it regardless of your physical condition or age today. You don’t need to already be in good physical shape; that will come with time.
POLE DANCE CLOTHING
For each class, you MUST wear SHORTS and a sports bra (with belly exposed) because it’s the skin that allows you to grip the pole.
Avoid loose tops that may slide off during certain pole moves.
Opt for fitted shorts that expose the skin on your legs, as this will help with gripping the pole during spins and climbs. Avoid wearing very loose or long pants.
No Jewelry: Remove any jewelry or accessories that could get caught on the pole or interfere with your movements.
Hair Tie: It’s better to tie your hair back (if you have long hair) to keep it out of your face and away from the pole.
ONSITE LESSONS STRUCTURE
The pole dance classes by level last for 1 hour. Approximately 20 minutes of warm-up including muscle strengthening, core exercises, and stretching, then about 40 minutes of learning pole moves.
The last few minutes of the class are dedicated to a short stretching session to prevent soreness.
